Delete your Eatsboard account

You can initiate deletion yourself at any time in the iOS app: Profile → Delete account (Account section). The app explains the consequences before you confirm. An account linked to Apple or Google may require you to confirm again with the respective provider. Deletion may take several steps; the app shows its progress. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

What is deleted

Your personal profile, preferences, chats, private dishes and recipes, memberships and personal app content are deleted or disassociated. Your own dishes also disappear from shared plans. Shared plans may remain available to the remaining members; group ownership is transferred to an active member where possible.

Limited retention

Purchase, billing, fraud prevention and security records may be retained only to the extent and for as long as legal obligations or legitimate evidentiary purposes require; they are minimised or pseudonymised in the process.
